About
Ms. Clausewitz, President of the Clausewitz Reyes, has over 15 years of experience representing individuals and companies from a wide range of industries. Ms. Clausewitz’s practice primarily focuses on business law issues in both the corporate and litigation arenas, including commercial and employment litigation, corporate formation & governance, mergers & acquisitions, general counsel services, and estate planning & probate. Ms. Clausewitz handles a wide variety of legal issues and business and commercial disputes involving entity formation and dissolution, contract negotiation, labor and employment, administrative proceedings, contract negotiations, breach of contract, business torts, fiduciary duties, collection matters, deceptive trade practices, and appellate work.
Ms. Clausewitz has an extensive history of commitment to the legal and local communities, with an emphasis on the promotion of women in leadership. A fellow of the American Bar Foundation, Texas Bar Foundation, and San Antonio Bar Foundation, Ms. Clausewitz has been active in several legal and community organizations, including the National Association of Women Business Owners, San Antonio Bar Association, William S. Sessions Inn of Court, United Way Women United, IMPACT San Antonio, National Charity League, and Bexar County Women’s Bar Association and Foundation. Ms. Clausewitz is the founding Director of the Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation’s LEAD Academy, a leadership program for San Antonio women attorneys and she continues to serve as the program’s Curriculum & Faculty Chair. She is also the founding Board Chair of Alegría Women’s Chorus of San Antonio (formed in 2022), and she continues to serve in that role.
In 2024, Ms. Clausewitz was recognized as a finalist for the Texas Minority Counsel Program Trailblazer of the Year award and the National Association of Women—San Antonio Business Owner of the Year award. In 2022, Ms. Clausewitz was awarded the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association’s Belva Lockwood Outstanding Lawyer Award for her contributions to the legal profession and contributions to the community in the form of charitable and volunteer work. In 2017, the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association named her Mentor of the Year for her contributions to mentoring young attorneys in the San Antonio community. In 2014, Ms. Clausewitz was honored as the Outstanding Young Alumnus by the St. Mary’s University Law Alumni Association, and in 2017 the San Antonio Business Journal honored her as an Outstanding Lawyer. Ms. Clausewitz’s accolades include recognition as a Texas Super Lawyer (2022-2025) and Texas Rising Star (2017-2018) by Thomson Reuters and as a Best Lawyer by Scene In SA (2013 and 2015-2024), She was included in San Antonio Magazine’s 2019 inaugural list of Outstanding Attorneys in San Antonio.
