About
Ms. Clausewitz, President of the Clausewitz Reyes, has over 10 years of experience representing individuals and companies from a wide range of industries. Ms. Clausewitz’ practice primarily focuses on business law issues, including commercial, employment, & real estate litigation, as well as estate planning & probate and appellate work. Clausewitz handles a wide variety of legal issues and business and commercial disputes involving entity formation and dissolution, labor and employment work, breach of contract, business torts, fiduciary duties, real estate, oil and gas, collection matters, deceptive trade practice, and construction defects.
Ms. Clausewitz has an extensive history of commitment to the legal and local communities, with an emphasis on the promotion of women in leadership. A Texas Bar Foundation and San Antonio Bar Foundation Fellow, Ms. Clausewitz is active in several legal and community organizations, including the San Antonio Bar Association, William S. Sessions Inn of Court, IMPACT San Antonio, National Charity League, and Bexar County Women’s Bar Association and Foundation. Ms. Clausewitz is the founding Director of the Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation’s LEAD Academy, a leadership program for San Antonio women attorneys and she continues to serve as the program’s Curriculum & Faculty Chair. Ms. Clausewitz is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, and is Secretary for the St. George Episcopal School Board of Directors. She was also elected as a member of the State Bar of Texas’ General Practice, Solo, and Small Firm Section’s Governing Council.
In 2012, Ms. Clausewitz was awarded the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association’s Belva Lockwood Outstanding Young Lawyer Award for her contributions to the legal profession and contributions to the community in the form of charitable and volunteer work. In 2014, she was honored as the Outstanding Young Alumnus by the St. Mary’s University Law Alumni Association, and in 2017 the San Antonio Business Journal honored her as an Outstanding Lawyer. Ms. Clausewitz has also been recognized as a Lawyer of the Year; 2021 – Texas in Construction Litigation and Employment Litigation Defense by Best Lawyers in America; as a Best Lawyer by Scene In SA (2013 and 2015-2019) and as a Super Lawyers’ Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters (2017-2018), and was included in San Antonio Magazine’s 2019 inaugural list of Outstanding Attorneys in San Antonio.
